 Has your browser gone beserk? Does it open new windows to random sites without input from you? It appears we have a new hijacker (name?) floating about. Two of the redirector sites are gallimp.com and cowresti.com. Placing these terms into a search engine results in a couple of sites recommending some cleaning software that I have not used, but have read reviews touting their effectivity. If this is all greek to you, see the beginner's guide to browser hijacking.
I cannot install software on my company-issued laptop, so I simply
looked in c:\windows\system32 and searched for for recent dll/ini files with
strange names and renamed the extensions. Examples:
